There are a lot of uses of mathematics when it comes to real life. Sequences are one of the subjects that is repeated in every grade of education which shows its importance.
There are 2 types of sequence in mathematic, arithmetic and geometric.
Arithmetic sequence is a sequence of numbers that the difference between the consecutive terms is constant. Arithmetic sequence can be shown in calculating salary or even determining the amount of people in a stadium when the number of seats in each row constantly increases.
On the other hand geometric sequence goes from one term to the next by always multiplying or dividing by the same value. Geometric sequences are useful in both mathematical problems and everyday experiments as well. For instance every time that a ball bounces, its height will be half of the previous one and it will repeat till the time it stops bouncing.
