Gravitational potential energy


Gravitational potential energy is the energy put away in an article as the aftereffect of its upward position or stature. The energy is put away as the aftereffect of the gravitational fascination of the Earth for the article. This energy is because of the power of gravity following up on an item. EP=mgh. Whenever a stone tumbles from tallness then potential energy is changed over to active energy with regards to the outer layer of the earth. Assuming an item is lifted, work is done against the power of gravity. Whenever work is done energy is moved to the article and it acquires gravitational possible energy. Assuming the item tumbles from that tallness, a similar measure of work would need to be finished by the power of gravity to take it back to the Earth's surface.
