First off, watching television for a long time could badly affect peoples health which is associated with mental health, and physical health and according to one study which was done in 2013, criminal behavior rate increase per every hour that children and teenagers watch television per week. The mentioned study also demonstrated that, "11,000 5-years-old children in the U.K who used to watch television for 2-3 hours per day, were engaged in bad behaviors like stealing and fighting at age7," (Health studies, 2013). To mention some of the physical issues that are caused by watching television, it could be said that television is realized to be one of the most important agents that causes an increment in the risk of contraction of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. On the other hand, A study in the Journal of American Heart Association indicated that the rate of premature death in adults who spend more than 3 hours in front of television is relatively higher than the ones who control their time of watching television.
