In my opinion history of Canada was more interesting than the other subjects for me. One of my favourite subjects are history. Canada has been occupied by some countries like Great Britain and France. The other reason is Canada had numeros wars with United states, French colonies and world war.
However, Canada is a well known country but it has powerful and interesting history. Also I learned about Canadian culture, Canadian art, Canadian artists and Canada is a multicultural country. Canada has many big faces in many subjects in history like science, music, cinema and civil activists etc. For instance John polanyi won chemist nobel at 1986.
Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia. Canada includes 10 provinces and 3 territories. Canada’s population is about 37.06 million people. The main Canadian provinces are Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec etc and that 3 territories are Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. Canada has 2 official languages, all the provinces speaks in English except Quebec. The official language in Quebec is French.
Currently, Canada has many celebrities in hollywood like Drake, Keanu Reeves, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Mendes etc. In Canada people love their celebrities, for example you can hear Canadian songs in every public places like malls and supermarkets.
Canada has a rich nature. Canada's fresh water can be found in the form of rivers, lakes, groundwater, ice, and snow. Canadian rivers discharge close to 7% of the world's renewable water supply, Canada has a generous water endowment.
In the first unit, we had a song named farewell to nova scotia. The official song of Nova Scotia, Farewell to Nova Scotia, also known as ‘The Nova Scotia Song, is a favourite folk song of unknown authorship, believed to have been written shortly before or during World War I.
