Three important laws of motion?

  1. newton's First Law of Motion (Law of Inertia)

  2. Newton's Second Law of Motion (Law of Mass and Acceleration)

  3. Newton's Third Law of Motion

  1. newton's First Law of Motion (Law of Inertia

Galileo said that velocity is not necessarily zero if there is no force; it is acceleration which is zero if there is no force. This idea was restated by Newton's first law of motion, sometimes called the law of inertia.

  1. Newton's Second Law of Motion (Law of Mass and Acceleration)

The equation F = ma states that the net force on a body is equal to the mass multiplied by the acceleration.

3. Newton's Third Law of Motion

Newton's third is not a law of motion but a law of forces.

Also, Newton's 3rd law is also called Law of Action and Reaction.

Hi Arian,

Can you explain why you said Newton's 3rd law is not the law of motion? It is written on the Internet as the law of motion. "Newton's third law of motion"
